Winter updates
Hello Everyone, It has been a long time, once again, since I have posted anything. Mason is getting so big. We are getting ready to celebrate his 8th birthday and I just can not believe it. We have had a busy winter and are very ready for summer. We can't wait. I of course more than Mark. I think he could do without summer. Actually I think he could do with out lights and live in the woods with the deer. Mason is getting so big and so smart. He has an absolutely wonderful teacher this year and he loves her. We love her too. We had such a great time at the packer games this season. What a year for them, and watching them come home from the Superbowl was amazing. Mark is great, and getting ready to take the Harley out. I am doing well too. Mason is learning guitar and is going to be a rockstar like his cousin Tony!!

Summer 2010
Wow, I know it has been a long time since I have posted but it has been a very busy summer. I can't believe that school starts in just a few weeks. We have just been having a wonderful summer. Mason has learned so much this summer. In June and July he was busy with baseball and learning all the rules of the game. We visited Marks sister in Minnesota as well as a trip to Iowa to see Grandma who is 98!! She is so wonderful, it was a short but delightful trip. Masons Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Linda came to see us, and that was a nice visit. Mason has been a fish in the water this year. He has enjoyed the pool and learning how to swim. I am very proud of him. He still enjoys playing golf and can't wait to go to the driving range.
Mason's cousins have been here for a few weeks and there is nothing better. It is wonderful to spend time with them and to watch all the kids play. That is what it is all about, time for them to gain memories!! I love watching it all. They have been fishing and spending lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa!!
Mark is wonderful and full of surprises. We are now the proud owners of a Harley, yes that's right I am now a biker bitch...Can you believe it. He is in love and that is all that matters. Not to mention, I have to say he looks pretty hot on it!! He is busy at work and never a dull moment there. I too have been super busy with my job, but am also taking time to enjoy life and live for my family and friends too. I had my 20 year reunion this past weekend and that was absolutly wonderful. It was great to catch up with old friends. I now need to schedule a college reunion, wouldn't that be fun. Maybe homecoming this year should be on my calendar.
We are once again getting ready for school and can't believe the summer is almost over. I have a new phrase on life these days and it is to take life slow and enjoy each day and each moment with your loved ones. We never know how long we have and we have to make sure that each day is never wasted!! So take a moment to look at your loved ones and tell them you love them. Enjoy the rest of your summer

First Day of First Grade
My little boy is growing up so fast. He is now a first grader. Everything is happening so fast. He is so excited today and can't wait to get there. Of course he wanted a Spiderman backpack once again!! He is so funny, because all he is concerned about is that he might have homework. He is not looking forward to that. Mark and I are so proud of him.

Packer Fever
Mason is so exicted for the Packer Season!! Grandpa Burnikel took him to his very first Packer Game and he loved it. It seems that all he wants to do is play football. Mark is getting a workout!! It is so cool to watch the two of them play and how patient my husband is with him. Mark is the best father anyone could ever ask for. Mason is a very lucky little boy. I am pretty lucky myself!!!

Look who is 6
Wow I can't believe it has been so long since I have put a new blog on here. Mr Mason is now 6! We had a Super Hero Bowling Party that was a huge success!! He really wanted a spiderman cake so mommy made one. However, it took forever, but it was so worth it when I saw how happy he was about it. It seems that he just keeps getting more and more handsome. He is so wonderful and I cherish every single minute with him. He really is a great little man!! We also had the chance to venture off to Iowa to see Mason's Great Grandma and Aunts and Uncles. We really love going there and seeing everyone. Mason just loves it. We are planning another trip there this summer and are very excited to see everyone again. Mason's Great Grandma Burnikel is 97 years old and still living Independently...Way to go Gma!! Mason, Uncle Ed and Grandma took us all fishing and we had a blast. It is wonderful to see everyone out and having such a good time, enjoying the fresh air and enjoying life. Sometimes we forget in our busy days how important it is to just slow down and take everything in. I really had a wonderful time relaxing and being with my family!!

Mason had so much fun trick or treating this year. I think this was by far the most fun we have ever had. I dressed up this year as a witch and he got to assist me in putting on my face, he loved it. I am just amazed at what a little man he has become. I watch him grow and think to myself, where has the time gone. I can only imagine how I am going to feel in another 5 years. I am so proud of Mason and know that he is on his way to be something great.....but for now he wants to be a super hero, so a super hero it is!!

Merry Christmas
Mason is so excited for the holidays. He went to see Santa today and told him what he wanted for X-mas. He told Santa that he wants flying lightning McQueen and movies. He was such a good boy. Mason is so excited for Santa to come down the chimney...but he just thinks that he will not fit...hummmmmmm
Happy Holidays to all of our family and friends
